L&W Supply Grows Nationwide Footprint with Acquisition of DeFoor Acoustical Inc.

CHICAGO – June 25, 2018 – L&W Supply Corporation, one of the nation’s largest distributors of wallboard, steel stud, ceiling systems and related building products announced today the acquisition of DeFoor Acoustical Inc. dba DeFoor Drywall and Acoustical Supply.

The family owned business started in 1966 as a commercial drywall and acoustical ceilings contractor. It transitioned to DeFoor Drywall and Acoustical Supply in the mid-’80’s to serve the professional contractor and builder in Macon and Atlanta, Georgia, as a distributor. The company provides commercial acoustical ceiling systems, insulation, metals studs and drywall products.
